DO or MD

DO or MD, that is the question. as of february 1st, i have two offers on the table: Indiana University School of Medicine and Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine. and so the waiting shall continue as the hope of financial offers takes center stage.

Either, tough call. MD, has the edge, though.

Seems you would have much more street cred and opportunities with an MD (alot of people still don't know DOs are really doctors), but with a "post-modern" world (if we even live in one), some people like the "spiritualisms" of DOs. That they treat the whole person (although MDs can just as easily, it's a mindset).

im gonna say go with the MD-not that i know anything about it at all- but i am always suspicious of a D.O. I always want to check out his degree or something. But thats just me. Good to see you are still wrestling with His will... Love you bud- TJ

Kent! I'm sad you're not going to end up at Vandy. And I'm glad you're in Guatemala. Hope the Spanish is going well - reading about your first few days there reminds me so much of the way I felt when I arrived in Spain. It felt like home in no time. Vaya con Dios. -Holly McCloud
